Šťastný Nový Rok!!
Šťastný nový rok! Happy new year! This week was litty and a lot of good stuff happened and I'm also learning a lot.
Last week for Christmas, we spent the whole day at an American member's home. It was nothing like Christmas back home but a lot more normal then I bet a bunch of other missionaries around the world had. It was pretty solid.
On Wednesday we had Zone Conference which was a lot of fun. I saw a bunch of other missionaries again and it was super fun. Nothing too crazy but it was a good day. That next day we had exchanges with the ZLs and I was with a ukrainian elder all day. He learned English on the mission and it's honestly really good. It was cool to see him and learn from him. My comp was with the other ZL and he went to Mountain View. We talked a lot about sports and stuff so it was a lot of fun to make some crazy connections.
The next couple days were kinda slow. Our whole district was pretty sick this week so we were just trying to grind and get through the week. Me and my comp were contacting at a park and there was a family of like 5 people about to walk past us. I looked at my comp and asked if he wanted to talk to them and he was like heck no haha. I said the same thing but I still decided to talk to them. After about 15 minutes of talking to this family, they were interested and wanted a BoM. It was pretty cool and that's why you talk to everyone haha. A big family is hecka scary but it's ok cause they need to learn about God.
We had another lesson with Martin and he wants to get baptized in May, in a really cool lake, right around his birthday. So I won't be in Prague (I don't think) when he gets baptized but I hope I can come back and go to the baptism.
Other than that nothing crazy happened, pretty boring week with some normal missionary days. We aren't doing much for new years eve. My mission prez gave us permission to stay up until 12:30 on new years eve but sleep is more important haha.
I'll end by saying that God loves everybody! Everybody you look at on a metro or at school or anywhere. They are all loved by God. It's really that simple. God loves everybody!
Miss you guys! Have a good week and send me an email if you feel like it!
