WEEK 25

Week 25 as a missionary! I might actually end up making this email pretty short. Send me an email if you feel like it!


On p day we went to a cool castle place where our mission was dedicated. It was really cool, it's like a super spiritual place and has a lot of importance to our mission. It was sweet, and later this summer all the missionaries in the Czech Republic will meet up at the top of the mountain together. It's super cool so I'm glad that I got to go on P day this week.

            

We had MLC on Wednesday that I got to go to. We woke up early in the morning to drive about 2 and a half hours. We gave a fire presentation for our DFT social media stuff and then i got to hoop for about 45 minutes. Basketball was a lot of fun cause all the other elders were super athletic so we played some really good games. Also had some KFC so that was fire. 

Our friend Peter says he wants to get baptized in about 2 weeks which is super exciting. It will be the first person I've taught that's been baptized. I hope everything goes well and that we can help him get baptized soon. Maybe said a few extra prayers to help my man out, he's such a cool guy. 


              We went to a part member families house with the sisters and taught them a bit of the plan of Salvation. I've gotten super close with this family since I've been here so it's been really cool. Now we are just trying to help 3 of the other kids get baptized and help them keep learning about everything so they can be ready for it. 

      

         Saturday morning we helped a family move again for like 3 or 4 hours. We didn't break the elevator this time, which was good. The family thinks that the elevator broke last time because there was too much weight in the elevator, so i just agreed with them. There were also 2 baptisms in the Prague church on Saturday so I went to the second one. It was really cool. One of the best things about being in Prague is that I get to see a lot of our baptisms even if they aren't in our district or area. Our mission now has gotten 3 baptisms this year so we just need 81 more to reach our goal for the year. We are going to need lots of faith and hard work to reach that goal but we all believe that we can reach it!


                  My mission prez is from AZ so we got some fire connections and talk about ASU and sports and stuff. He loves to play sports with us so on a lot of P days he will hoop with us or play basketball or somethin. I also had a fire interview with him on Sunday and everything is going great!


                    That's pretty much all for this week! Mosiah 7;33 “But if ye will aturn to the Lord with full purpose of heart, and put your trust in him, and serve him with all bdiligence of mind, if ye do this, he will, according to his own will and pleasure, deliver you out of bondage.” If you turn to God in everything you do and through all the hard times, you will be blessed. It is promised so many times, we just need to trust that it works and do it. It works!

Dang this was such a normal week, but I'll try to make this interesting. Monday we had a district p day which was awesome. I used to have those every week in Prague, I definitely miss those days haha. But we went to one of the prettiest places in the country, it was literally a fairy tale land. But it was an awesome day and gave us some energy for the long week we had. We ended that day with some street contacting, picking up elder Rowes wallet from the train station cause he lost it, and then killing around 15 spiders that have been lurking in our church building for probably the past 5 years.  Tuesday was a completely normal day, we visited an inactive member and she said she's definitely not going to come back to church. Kinda unfortunate.  Wednesday was the first day of my mission that I have ever gone door to door contacting. It was actually a lot of fun but dang nobody wanted to talk with us. This is actually going to be such a short email cause I don't feel really good, but this week was so awesome. Pretty much the first half of the week was pretty great, normal missionary work. We were able to teach a couple lessons and talk with lots of people. Good stuff. Thursday we went to the other elders area and I ran an exchange with my old comp from Prague elder Lawrence. That was a good time and good to be back together. The exchange was pretty great. That next day I had my last VISA appointment in Prague and now I have my visa which is good. Elder Hinckley still has 2 more so we will be going back again very soon. Pretty bad timing but its alr.  The best part of the week was that i was able to return to CBUD for a baptism of one of our friends that I was able to teach before i left. Week 88 Or Something As A Missionary

Whats up everybody! This week was really awesome! It started off with a lot of late nights preparing for ZC and some other things, but it was a lot of fun.  It's been a crazy past couple of weeks. As a mission, we always have a monthly focus. Througout our MLC about a month ago, we counciled about things and decided that the best monthly focus for our mission would be, "Confidence and Christ". We were planning a lot of things, even as we were preparing for a zone conference, we were completely focusing on how to grow in our confidence in Christ. Then as we watched General Conference, President Nelsons talk was titled, "Confidence in the Presence of God". It was such an incredible feeling, knowing that our mission is focusing exactly on what the Prophet feels need to share with us.  Zone Conference went great, all the trainings and thoughts were all focused on growing our confidence through charity and Virtue and how to apply it directly into missionary work.
