Hodne Sluzba This Week

Hodne Sluzba this week. We spent about 8 hours this week helping a part member family move. It was low key brutal because they had to be out of their apartment about a week ago and hadn’t even started packing. So we helped them for a while and then the ward hopefully finished it all up yesterday. 


On wednesday me and my comp got invited to be in a 12 missionary choir. I do not know how. We both are pretty terrible at singing. But we spent most of Wednesday practicing and then went to another church ceremony thing (it was really weird and interesting) and sang for them. They had about 4 members of their ward and they were all over 60. So probably not worth our time at all but it was fun to be with a lot of the other missionaries. 


Thursday was fire cause we went on a little contacting exchange thing with Elder Rowe and Wagner. It was pouring rain and cold all day but we were outside for a few hours talking with everybody and it was a lot of fun. I got to run it back with elder rowe for about an hour so that was lit. I learned that when the weather might seem crappy or you can come up with a lot of excuses, that is actually when you will get a lot of success. Putting trust in God that he will help us in some way and that's what I saw when we were contacting that day. 


Everything else is pretty much going the same, I'm still in my second transfer which is crazy. This is my 10th week of the transfer and we have mid transfers next week so there's a small chance I could leave Prague but IDK. This is the first week where I've really found Joy throughout the whole week which was super good. Usually we have some pretty crappy days. This week we found a lot of joy everyday even when some situations may have been pretty terrible or not fun you could say. I feel like right now my language is getting better when i'm contacting but when we are in lessons or at church it's still just nothing. I can't understand as much as i would like but its getting there,

Dang this was such a normal week, but I'll try to make this interesting. Monday we had a district p day which was awesome. I used to have those every week in Prague, I definitely miss those days haha. But we went to one of the prettiest places in the country, it was literally a fairy tale land. But it was an awesome day and gave us some energy for the long week we had. We ended that day with some street contacting, picking up elder Rowes wallet from the train station cause he lost it, and then killing around 15 spiders that have been lurking in our church building for probably the past 5 years.  Tuesday was a completely normal day, we visited an inactive member and she said she's definitely not going to come back to church. Kinda unfortunate.  Wednesday was the first day of my mission that I have ever gone door to door contacting. It was actually a lot of fun but dang nobody wanted to talk with us. This is actually going to be such a short email cause I don't feel really good, but this week was so awesome. Pretty much the first half of the week was pretty great, normal missionary work. We were able to teach a couple lessons and talk with lots of people. Good stuff. Thursday we went to the other elders area and I ran an exchange with my old comp from Prague elder Lawrence. That was a good time and good to be back together. The exchange was pretty great. That next day I had my last VISA appointment in Prague and now I have my visa which is good. Elder Hinckley still has 2 more so we will be going back again very soon. Pretty bad timing but its alr.  The best part of the week was that i was able to return to CBUD for a baptism of one of our friends that I was able to teach before i left. She is so amazing, already has the strongest testimony! She has some family members in the church so she has been reading the Book of mormon a little bit over the past couple years. One day she ...

Week 88 Or Something As A Missionary

Whats up everybody! This week was really awesome! It started off with a lot of late nights preparing for ZC and some other things, but it was a lot of fun.  It's been a crazy past couple of weeks. As a mission, we always have a monthly focus. Througout our MLC about a month ago, we counciled about things and decided that the best monthly focus for our mission would be, "Confidence and Christ". We were planning a lot of things, even as we were preparing for a zone conference, we were completely focusing on how to grow in our confidence in Christ. Then as we watched General Conference, President Nelsons talk was titled, "Confidence in the Presence of God". It was such an incredible feeling, knowing that our mission is focusing exactly on what the Prophet feels need to share with us.  Zone Conference went great, all the trainings and thoughts were all focused on growing our confidence through charity and Virtue and how to apply it directly into missionary work.
