Birthday And Baptisms

This week was so incredible!! I'll first start off by saying thank you for all the birthday wishes! I really appreciated all of them and miss all you guys! I can't respond on facebook messenger but just know that I really appreciated your message! Send me an email if you want, my email is at the bottom of the whole thing.  This email is about to be pretty long because it was filled with some amazing things and a few crazy blessings/miracles. So if you want you can just skip through and read a few parts if you want.

Tuesday was a lot of meetings and preparing for the baptisms we were going to have this week. We had a good lesson with Peter and the bishop came to that so it was great. We had 2 lessons Fall through which was pretty sad. Usually when we call people and schedule meetings they never end up happening. They agree to it when you are on the phone and then just ghost you the next couple days and don't answer your calls. Then they will schedule another meeting and the same thing happens again. It's a little frustrating because I bet we've had at least like 40 lessons fall through this transfer which is a little sad.

Wednesday was my birthday so that was fire. It was a little different than back at home but the missionaries here made sure to celebrate it so that was fun. Apparently a couple weeks ago I said that my favorite animal was a white tiger, I was probably trying to be funny or something. But sister Pshenychna got me a stuffed white tiger for my birthday!!! It was pretty funny and the rest of the day was great. The first really cool blessing of the week was on my birthday when we were street contacting. We met this dude named Michal and as we were talking with him he said he needed to go somewhere and started to walk but I told him to wait. This dude is so freaking cool and ended up coming to church!! That never happens with anybody we talk to on the streets so it was soo cool.

Thursday was Peter's baptism and it was awesome. It was the first person I've taught that has decided to get baptized so it was such a cool experience. That morning we woke up and had to go fill the font pretty early, but all the farmers in the Czech Republic decided to drive their huge Fat tractors around all of Prague the entire day. It was super cool and funny to see like 30 tractors lined up, honking their horns throughout the entire day. There must have been like 200 or 300 tractors at least. But that kinda through peters baptism For a loop because it caused a lot of traffic and delayed the baptism a lot. One member from the bishopric that was supposed to conduct told us 15 minutes before that he wasn't going to be able to make it so that was unfortunate. It ended up being 9 missionaries, one member that gave a talk, the bishop and the office missionary couple at the baptism. But it was so spiritual and amazing. When me and Peter were walking into the font I told him to hold onto the rail because it was slippery. Well of course i was walking into the water and slipped, but I caught myself before I fell all the way In so it was ok. Then when I baptized him, he slipped right when he was going under so I had to use a lot more strength to get him up but it all worked out. He had an amazing baptism and that whole day was really good.

There was another baptism on Friday and I felt like the entire ward was there. It couldn't have been more different than Peters but this one was absolutely hectic. We had a little miscommunication between the missionaries, bishop, and the person Being taught. She didn't have her bap interview yet. So when they were asked to walk to the font, they Got up and the elders quorum president and his wife who was getting baptized went with my comp and our area 70 to figure everything out. Nobody in the room had any idea what was happening except for the missionaries so they were all freaking out. When it was time to get baptized, the dude baptizing the girl had his left arm to the square Instead of his right arm. Nobody noticed except for me and Sister Horner, so I ran from the very back of the room and told them That it didn't count. They were already in the changing room and out of their clothes by the time they found out they needed to do it again. They came back and he said the prayer wrong and the third time actually worked. It was really good other Than that tho.

Saturday there was another baptism For a dude from Brazil at a college like 3 hours away. The dude was crazy and funny. He got baptized and then screamed right after it happened. It was crazy. I've never seen anything like it. He was the loudest dude I've Ever met in my life but I still felt the spirit really strong. Then we had sports night that night and that was fun. We played soccer for a bit and then hit up American football For about 15 minutes. After that we went to Tanya's family's new home for the first time. It was great, and me And Elder Lawrence ran a FHE for them. We played a game and then shared a spiritual thought about Nephi. It was super cool and great to see them again.

Ok im almost done, Sunday was another really great day! The metro Was somewhat closed so it took us an extra 20 minutes to get to church. When we got there we saw Peter and our new boi Michal so we homied them up. But I walked into church and sister Everton said that there were some people from Gilbert that knew who I was. It was really cool to see some people from back home. I only got to talk with them For about 3 minutes but I got a picture that I will put down below. Sunday was so hectic, and I got asked to translate Elders Quorum. It was absolutely brutal because I can barely understand it myself. Like I understood a few words every sentence and that's it. I was in the very back and my boi Tadeas came to sit by me. I love that man but he was trying to help me translate and it was making it so much harder. About every 3 seconds he would say like a word or two in english To help me out but he wasn't helping me at all ahah. So I decided to move to the very front so I could really focus but the man followed me. I was a little frustrated but its alright. After about 2 minutes I just gave him the translation and called it quits. He lasted about 15 seconds before the ward got mad at him for not doing a good job and he gave it to somebody else. It was pretty funny but I want a retry at Translating to see how good I can really do.

ok I'm done now. If you made it to the end of this huge essay You're a real one. This thing was freaking long but it was filled with a lot of great stuff.

I love all you guys and keep killing it with everything you're doing!! Have the best week ever and send me an email or an update on your life if you feel like it!
