Another Week

Another week down here in Cbud and it was so long haha, but we saw some crazy blessings and Miracles. I've been waiting for some of these big blessings and we finally got some so that's awesome. I think I've learned that every week in this area is going to be long and hard but I'm learning to search for those little blessings every day. But it was still a pretty solid week soo…

Monday pros time was actually so fire. I usually hate it cause most of the time we are just outside for like 2 hours and then Calling people or something for the other hour. This time we had a lesson and it went really well and then on the way back I saw some people movIng into their apartment. I went and asked them if we could help and they gave me a quick no. And then I kinda laughed and was like bro why not??? And then the other dude was like bro just let them help haha. So for about 45 minutes we helped this family of like 15 people move into an apartment that would've taken like 3 hours without us. We are homies with them now and see them like every other day. 

Tuesday and Wednesday were toughhh. It freaking snowed on Tuesday. It makes now sense but that made the rest of the day bad cause czech people will not go outside like at all when the weather is bad with rain or snow. Kinda rough. We started teaching this one dude on wednesday and bro is the most interesting person i have taught and probably met. In the middle of the lesson this dude started talking about his hallucinations and that he can tell when people are lying or not because of his visions. Dude was trippin, we didn't tell him yet but we know it's because bro is big addicted to weed haha. We've got lots of work to do but i think we might be able to change his life around. We ended the lesson and then he told us that this girl asked to marry him and we were like how. He said he met her on a dating app that day, he said he might actually say yes and marry her. That would help us teach the law of chastity Tho so maybe it's not a bad thing??

Had a really good exchange on Thursday with the ZLs. We had a good lesson with a the girl from Monday and thought about putting her on date but she needs a little more time. She had a really good experience at church on Sunday so that's awesome. We hooped with some old czech dudes that night and i am so out of shape, it was bad. My comp and the other ZL put one of our friends on date for June 8th. It was a crazy miracle and I think he is super ready for baptism so we hope everything goes well. 

We had DC in cbud so the whole district came down for a couple hours. It was a really good DC and then I hit up some splits with my MTC comp for about 45 minutes and it was some of the best contacting I've had in thus area. It was crazy how much unity we had and how well we worked together. Me and my comp are struggling a little bit right now with getting along and working together so it was so good to feel what a normal companionship is supposed to be like haha. But that was awesome and then Sunday was such a good church. We had 25 people at church because we had branch conference. It was so good and great for our friend that came as well. 

That's pretty much my week for you guys. Little spiritual thought for you guys. 3 Nephi 9: 15 ”Behold, I am Jesus Christ the Son of God. I created the heavens and the earth, and all things that in them are. I was with the Father from the beginning. I am in the Father, and the Father in me; and in me hath the Father glorified his name.” I read all of Helaman and 3 nephi this week and they are so good. It's such a powerful testimony that Jesus Christ lives and how important the Book of Mormon is. The Book of Mormon are words straight from Jesus Christ. I suggest reading these chapters if you haven't in a bit. Pretty fire

Dang this was such a normal week, but I'll try to make this interesting. Monday we had a district p day which was awesome. I used to have those every week in Prague, I definitely miss those days haha. But we went to one of the prettiest places in the country, it was literally a fairy tale land. But it was an awesome day and gave us some energy for the long week we had. We ended that day with some street contacting, picking up elder Rowes wallet from the train station cause he lost it, and then killing around 15 spiders that have been lurking in our church building for probably the past 5 years.  Tuesday was a completely normal day, we visited an inactive member and she said she's definitely not going to come back to church. This is actually going to be such a short email cause I don't feel really good, but this week was so awesome. Pretty much the first half of the week was pretty great, normal missionary work. We were able to teach a couple lessons and talk with lots of people. Good stuff. Thursday we went to the other elders area and I ran an exchange with my old comp from Prague elder Lawrence. That was a good time and good to be back together. The exchange was pretty great. That next day I had my last VISA appointment in Prague and now I have my visa which is good. Elder Hinckley still has 2 more so we will be going back again very soon. Pretty bad timing but its alr.  The best part of the week was that i was able to return to CBUD for a baptism of one of our friends that I was able to teach before i left. She is so amazing, already has the strongest testimony! She has some family members in the church so she has been reading the Book of mormon a little bit over the past couple years. One day she ...

Week 88 Or Something As A Missionary

Whats up everybody! This week was really awesome! It started off with a lot of late nights preparing for ZC and some other things, but it was a lot of fun.  It's been a crazy past couple of weeks. As a mission, we always have a monthly focus. Througout our MLC about a month ago, we counciled about things and decided that the best monthly focus for our mission would be, "Confidence and Christ". We were planning a lot of things, even as we were preparing for a zone conference, we were completely focusing on how to grow in our confidence in Christ. Then as we watched General Conference, President Nelsons talk was titled, "Confidence in the Presence of God". It was such an incredible feeling, knowing that our mission is focusing exactly on what the Prophet feels need to share with us.  Zone Conference went great, all the trainings and thoughts were all focused on growing our confidence through charity and Virtue and how to apply it directly into missionary work.
