České Krumlov
Dang this was such a normal week, but I'll try to make this interesting.
Monday we had a district p day which was awesome. I used to have those every week in Prague, I definitely miss those days haha. But we went to one of the prettiest places in the country, it was literally a fairy tale land. But it was an awesome day and gave us some energy for the long week we had. We ended that day with some street contacting, picking up elder Rowes wallet from the train station cause he lost it, and then killing around 15 spiders that have been lurking in our church building for probably the past 5 years.
Tuesday was a completely normal day, we visited an inactive member and she said she's definitely not going to come back to church. Kinda unfortunate.
Wednesday was the first day of my mission that I have ever gone door to door contacting. It was actually a lot of fun but dang nobody wanted to talk with us. We might try it again soon and see if people's hearts change. This was a holiday so the streets were a lot emptier.
Thursday was just a straight of grind of a day, nothing too crazy again.
Friday we were actually supposed to have 5 lessons and then only 2 ended up happening. The first lesson was awesome in the morning and we taught the plan of Salvation. We are trying to put her on baptismal date this week so that could be really exciting. So far she seems really ready so we hope everything goes well. Later that day we had a lesson with our friend Petr and we are super close with him. He's just very atheist and isn't super willing to change. We told him he has to open his heart to feel the spirit and a lot of other stuff but it was a good lesson. I hope the holy ghost touched his heart a little cause the spirit was super strong in that lesson. We asked him what he was feeling and he said he wasn't feeling anything but I know that's cap cause the spirit was definitely there. He will admit to it some day.
Saturday we had an awesome lesson with our friend Tomáš who is on date for June 8th. He is still excited about the date so we hope everything keeps going well. He is very hard to get in contact with but he is still doing good and on track to hit his Date. That day i also saw a dad with 4 little kids and they were one of the most normal families I have ever seen here. They were so nice and i started talking to the two oldest kids and asked if they liked sports and stuff. We were homies and the dad came over and i started asking him some questions. At the end of the convo, that family left with a BoM and we have their phone number. Super cool miracle but they won't answer our texts. That's usually how it goes but i hope something in their hearts changes and they answer our texts.
Sunday was a long normal fast Sunday. Low key had a headache from fasting but we had an amazing member meal that night with pretty much our whole branch. That's pretty much my week. Nothing too crazy or exciting but hope something really cool happens this coming week!!
Ether 3:26 "For he had said unto him in times before, that if he would believe in him that he could show unto him all things—it should be shown unto him; therefore the Lord could not withhold anything from him, for he knew that the Lord could show him all things". This whole chapter was awesome and I love how much faith the Brother of Jared has. He had so much faith that the veil was taken away and he saw Jesus Christ. That's a lot of faith!
Well I love you guys and hope you have another amazing week! Send me a quick email just to say hi. I would really appreciate it!!
