Exchange

Whats up everybody! This week was very average but I'll give you a quick run down. Basically all of our friends are dropping us which is super discouraging. Our friend on bap date hasn't texted us back or answered a call in a week and a half and everybody else is pretty much the same. Low key don't know why but we are still trying our best. 
We spent the whole p day on Monday visiting This one castle like 3 hours away. It was pretty solid, one of the coolest castle ruins I've been to. That night we had a lesson with a muslim guy and bro was goin off on us for about a straight hour. I won't get into details but it was a really fun lesson and started off the week pretty well. Bro was crazy but knew a lot of stuff. 

Tuesday was absolutely empty. It was terrible and we talked to so many people that day and just rejection after rejection. Nothing crazy. 

Wednesday was so freaking awesome. Me and Elder Rowe hit up an exchange in Čbud. It was the first time being comps for more than just an hour or two since the MTC. It was lit and we had a lot of fun. Had some pretty solid convos. Taught thus one dude the whole restoration on the streets and then he said he wasn't interested. Still a cool experience. We also had a very interesting experience with a big Evangelizing Christianity group. The first kid was really cool and then he took us to his "boss dude".  The boss dude put his hand on my shoulder and proceeded to tell us that everything we are doing right now is absolutely wrong. Bro went off for like 3 straight minutes. Then I looked at him and showered him with some compliments about how awesome his group was. Cause I think that's more of what Jesus would do. I could write about this guy for like 10 minutes but I'll stop now. Bro could've been a lot nicer fs. We ended that night with some Frisbee golf. We posted it on a lot of pages and only one person showed up. But we gotta start somewhere. I really hope we can start to grow it and make it more fun, we are playing soccer this week. 
Thursday through Sunday were all just straight up not too much fun haha. Friday was actually lit cause we went to plzen for DC. And Saturday we hard a BBQ with our branch that was awesome. But everything else was brutal. It's pretty hard to find joy in the work right now for a couple reasons but I'm trying my best!! We are heading to prague for Pday today so that'll be awesome.

2 Nephi 4:35 "Yea, I know that God will give liberally to him that asketh. Yea, my God will give me, if I ask not amiss; therefore I will lift up my voice unto thee; yea, I will cry unto thee, my God, the rock of my righteousness. Behold, my voice shall forever ascend up unto thee, my rock and mine everlasting God. Amen." Faith is so important when we are praying. If we prey with faith God will give us blessings according to His will. It's amazing and I know it's true.

Dang this was such a normal week, but I'll try to make this interesting. Monday we had a district p day which was awesome. I used to have those every week in Prague, I definitely miss those days haha. But we went to one of the prettiest places in the country, it was literally a fairy tale land. But it was an awesome day and gave us some energy for the long week we had. We ended that day with some street contacting, picking up elder Rowes wallet from the train station cause he lost it, and then killing around 15 spiders that have been lurking in our church building for probably the past 5 years.  Tuesday was a completely normal day, we visited an inactive member and she said she's definitely not going to come back to church. Kinda unfortunate.  Wednesday was the first day of my mission that I have ever gone door to door contacting. It was actually a lot of fun but dang nobody wanted to talk with us. This is actually going to be such a short email cause I don't feel really good, but this week was so awesome. Pretty much the first half of the week was pretty great, normal missionary work. We were able to teach a couple lessons and talk with lots of people. Good stuff. Thursday we went to the other elders area and I ran an exchange with my old comp from Prague elder Lawrence. That was a good time and good to be back together. The exchange was pretty great. That next day I had my last VISA appointment in Prague and now I have my visa which is good. Elder Hinckley still has 2 more so we will be going back again very soon. Pretty bad timing but its alr.  The best part of the week was that i was able to return to CBUD for a baptism of one of our friends that I was able to teach before i left. She is so amazing, already has the strongest testimony! She has some family members in the church so she has been reading the Book of mormon a little bit over the past couple years. One day she ...

Week 88 Or Something As A Missionary

Whats up everybody! This week was really awesome! It started off with a lot of late nights preparing for ZC and some other things, but it was a lot of fun.  It's been a crazy past couple of weeks. As a mission, we always have a monthly focus. Througout our MLC about a month ago, we counciled about things and decided that the best monthly focus for our mission would be, "Confidence and Christ". We were planning a lot of things, even as we were preparing for a zone conference, we were completely focusing on how to grow in our confidence in Christ. Then as we watched General Conference, President Nelsons talk was titled, "Confidence in the Presence of God". It was such an incredible feeling, knowing that our mission is focusing exactly on what the Prophet feels need to share with us.  Zone Conference went great, all the trainings and thoughts were all focused on growing our confidence through charity and Virtue and how to apply it directly into missionary work.
