Fake Baptism, Rain, Exchange

This week started off so wild ... for Czech Republic. Monday night we had a super long lesson with a friend and a member and our plan was to either put her on date for this week or to tell her that she isn't ready for baptism. So in the lesson, what me and my comp probably could've taught in 5 hours, our member pretty much just taught in 45 minutes. He is such an incredible member, maybe the only reason our branch still exists here. But we put her on date and had the baptism planned for Wednesday and had everything figured out in like 30 minutes. Usually takes like 2 weeks haha. But we were so stoked and thought it was such an incredible miracle from God. Tuesday morning she was going to have her bap interview, she was already good with everything and it was going to be such an easy interview. But that morning she texted me and said she can't get baptized anymore and has ghosted us ever since. Heavenly Father is playing with us down here haha. That's the second time this transfer, but me and my comp didn't think about it and straight up just grinded the rest of the week.

So Tuesday we just went crazy with nothing but street contacting and Facebook finding. We ended up just being outside on the streets for 5 hours, those days are awesome. They feel so rewarding. We get a lot of them here haha.
Wednesday and Thursday were actually pretty normal. We actually had 2 lessons on Wednesday with people I was able to find on Facebook, it was incredible. They were both so cool, so we will see what happens. Facebook work actually does kinda work, I still hate it but it's not just a waste of time haha.

It was raining the entire day on Friday and it was awesome. Because we only had one lesson that day so we hit the streets for another like 4 or 5 hours that day. And czech people have the biggest fear of rain in the world, so they just don't go outside. We talked to every single person we could and it was great.

Alright, Saturday and Sunday were just straight up amazing days because I did an exchange with my mtc comp Elder Rowe for the weekend. Him and my comp switched places for a couple days and we saw so many amazing blessings. Even thought it was raining like crazy, we were able to give out 4 Book of Mormons. I haven't handed out a book of mormon in weeks. And we were able to share joseph smith's first vision with somebody on the street and there is almost nothing more powerful than that. It has been so amazing and some of the best days of this transfer without a doubt. A lot of other small details within the week but overall such a solid week and filled with joy, which is super important.

Alma 5:12-14
"12And according to his faith there was a mighty change wrought in his heart. Behold I say unto you that this is all true.
13 And behold, he preached the word unto your fathers, and a mighty change was also wrought in their hearts, and they humbled themselves and put their trust in the true and living God. And behold, they were faithful until the end; therefore they were saved.
14 And now behold, I ask of you, my brethren of the church, have ye spiritually been born of God? Have ye received his image in your countenances? Have ye experienced this mighty change in your hearts?"

I have had some of the best personal studies of my mission this week, they have been so awesome. It would take to long to share a bunch of the stuff I studied but these 3 verses were pretty amazing. Before we receive stronger testimonies we have to be willing to change. Thay change comes from repenting and humbling ourselves, really changing our heart and trusting out Heavenly Father. That's why I feel like our testimonies grow super stronger in the hardest parts of our lives. When those trials are extremely hard to overcome. But that's when we truly become humble and turn to the lord. Our testimonies grow exponentially! Those hard times prepare us to have an open heart to really hear and listen to the truth.

Alright that's my email for this week! Love you guys! Send me an emai please
