Summer Time

Whats up everyone!? Alright this week was kinda wild and normal all at the same time. Ill start with some of the more interesting stuff and then get to the cool miracles by the end.

This week it was either pouring rain or I was dripping in sweat all day. I truly feel like im in south America or something because dang it is getting so hot. Europe also doesn't have AC, at least here in czechia, but nobody gave me that heads up so it's low key brutal. We've got two little fans and one big one in our apartment and they are all trash. The worst part about this is that the Czech People think it is extremely hot and i swear they just all decides to stop wearing clothes. We did a lottt of door knocking this week and I've never seen so many old grandpa's not wearing clothes. I won't get into the details but it was absolutely terrible haha. Absolutely disgusting but that's just how it is I guess. Some other crazy stuff that happened is that we only had time to call inactive members for like 3 minutes on friday night and the one person I called actually answered. She said her husband was in the hospital And that she would really appreciate it if we gave him a visit. I probably can't share any more of the story but it was one of the craziest moments of my mission. It was pretty much my biggest nightmare all together in one thing, and I never want to go to a hospital again haha.

Now for some really cool spiritual moments. We got a referal from some missionaries In California that pretty much said, don't call this person, but his girlfriend and kid live here and they want you to bring him a book of Mormom. But we can't let him know that they told us to do it. We were like bruh, this is stupid, but we decided to visit anyway. It was like a 50 minute train ride and then a 30 minute walk, and of course the bro wasn't home. So we dropped the Book of and put all our contact information in it. We knocked some doors for the next 20 minutes around his house, saw some more old dudes, absolutely terrible, but then the bro actually returned home. It was wild, so we knocked on his door like 10 minutes later and ended up teaching him about the Book of Mormon for like 15 minutes. Then he was like, you guys aren't gonna believe this but my friend from California just sent me a picture of my kid with this exact same book. So we acted surprised and we're like danggg that's wild. But yeah, he didn't end up giving us his contact, but said he will text us if he has interest. So we will see.

We also taught a kid that was supposed to get drafted into the NHL on Saturday and unfortunately didn't get drafted, but maybe that is actually a big blessing and we can continue to teach him. He just doesn't know that yet.

We also had Zone Conference this week and it was awesome. Always a good time seeing other missionaries and getting a big spiritual boost.

That's pretty much it for the week, low key a longer email but hopefully you enjoyed it.

Quick little thought, in zone conference my mission prez said "Don't Wait, Just do it!". He has really been emphasing how short our missions are. I think this quote can apply to everybody right now. There is no reason to wait, just work hard and do it and blessings will Come. Having faith means that we are acting, and the best way to act on something is to just go for it.

Anyways, have a lit week everybody! Love you guys!!
