Whats up!? This week absolutely flew by. We had 2 exchanges and had DC in another city 2 and a half hours away so it was kinda wild. 

Both of the exchanges were really good and a lot of fun and saw some blessings from them. On the first exchange we did some spikeball finding and so that was a lot of fun. We are actually having a lot more lessons these days and that makes missionary work so much better. Missionary work isn't too fun when there is nobody to teach, so we finally found a few people that are progressing, very slowly but still progressing. 

I had an exchange with an elder from Texas and the dude is absolutely hilarious. He never stops talking but it's amazing. We found about four different 16 year old ukrainian girls when we were contacting. I normally wouldnt talk to young people like that so it was impressive. He also starts every contact he has with "jsem z Texasu ale nejsem Cowboy" and then does like a little lasso thing with his hand. Absolutely incredible, it was a good day. 

We had a lesson with our ukrainian spy dude and he came to the lesson absolutely wasted. I was a little be scared but we ended up being safe and he learned pretty much nothing the whole lesson unfortunately. Really don't know what else to talk about. I'm still just chilling in České Budějovice. It's been 10 weeks and we have 2 more weeks of transfers. It's completely flown by. Alright I'm done now, i just had some of the worst czech food ever and don't feel to good but here's a good scripture

2 nephi 32:3-5

"Angels speak by the power of the Holy Ghost; wherefore, they speak the words of Christ. Wherefore, I said unto you, feast upon the words of Christ; for behold, the words of Christ will tell you all things what ye should do. 4 Wherefore, now after I have spoken these words, if ye cannot understand them it will be because ye ask not, neither do ye knock; wherefore, ye are not brought into the light, but must perish in the dark. 5 For behold, again I say unto you that if ye will enter in by the way, and receive the Holy Ghost, it will show unto you all things what ye should do."

Dang this was such a normal week, but I'll try to make this interesting. Monday we had a district p day which was awesome. I used to have those every week in Prague, I definitely miss those days haha. But we went to one of the prettiest places in the country, it was literally a fairy tale land. But it was an awesome day and gave us some energy for the long week we had. We ended that day with some street contacting, picking up elder Rowes wallet from the train station cause he lost it, and then killing around 15 spiders that have been lurking in our church building for probably the past 5 years.  Tuesday was a completely normal day, we visited an inactive member and she said she's definitely not going to come back to church. Kinda unfortunate.  Wednesday was the first day of my mission that I have ever gone door to door contacting. It was actually a lot of fun but dang nobody wanted to talk with us. Křest Jany v ČBUDSKY

This is actually going to be such a short email cause I don't feel really good, but this week was so awesome. Pretty much the first half of the week was pretty great, normal missionary work. We were able to teach a couple lessons and talk with lots of people. Good stuff. Thursday we went to the other elders area and I ran an exchange with my old comp from Prague elder Lawrence. That was a good time and good to be back together. The exchange was pretty great. That next day I had my last VISA appointment in Prague and now I have my visa which is good. Elder Hinckley still has 2 more so we will be going back again very soon. Pretty bad timing but its alr.  The best part of the week was that i was able to return to CBUD for a baptism of one of our friends that I was able to teach before i left. She is so amazing, already has the strongest testimony! She has some family members in the church so she has been reading the Book of mormon a little bit over the past couple years. One day she ...

Week 88 Or Something As A Missionary

Whats up everybody! This week was really awesome! It started off with a lot of late nights preparing for ZC and some other things, but it was a lot of fun.  It's been a crazy past couple of weeks. As a mission, we always have a monthly focus. Througout our MLC about a month ago, we counciled about things and decided that the best monthly focus for our mission would be, "Confidence and Christ". We were planning a lot of things, even as we were preparing for a zone conference, we were completely focusing on how to grow in our confidence in Christ. Then as we watched General Conference, President Nelsons talk was titled, "Confidence in the Presence of God". It was such an incredible feeling, knowing that our mission is focusing exactly on what the Prophet feels need to share with us.  Zone Conference went great, all the trainings and thoughts were all focused on growing our confidence through charity and Virtue and how to apply it directly into missionary work.
