Whats up everybody! We had another really good week here. This transfer has been awesome and the area is finally picking up speed. It's been about 5 months and we are finally seeing some good things happen so that's awesome!
I got absolutely humbled on Tuesday haha. Right when I thought my czech skills were getting better, I didn't understand like anything. It sounded like everybody was using like crazy slang in every conversation and that it was like a different dialect of czech, I guess it was just Heavenly Father showing me how much he really is helping me with the language. It would be brutal without his help so that was honestly a cool thing to see.
We got yelled at by a lot of people this week, it was like an unnormal amount haha. It's honestly super fun when people yell or try to argue with us. It's way better then them just saying no. We never argue back, but if it makes them feel better than I guess they can do it.
On thursday we had one of the most spirit filled lessons ever. We met this dude at his college dorm and taught him the restoration and wow it was actually so awesome. I think the craziest storm I've ever since since being here happened for the 30 minutes during that lesson. It was like a little mini hurricane with crazy lighting and thunder and it was incredible. The best part was that we were watching a video of joseph smith and the first vision, and so the spirit was already incredible strong and then right when Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ appeared to Joseph, one of the wildest lighting and thunder struck and it was really cool.
We also taught a dude that is like a relative of some famous king here and so he had a crazy nice apartment with a bunch of kings thrones and swords. We got flicked up with them and that was cool. He also looks like a knock off Luka Doncic so that was cool too.
Also gave my 3rd talk in the last 4 weeks because we only had 3 members at church today. Dang it's brutal but i think its just because it's summer break or something.
Alma 26:11-12
But Ammon said unto him: I do not boast in my own strength, nor in my own wisdom; but behold, my joy is full, yea, my heart is brim with joy, and I will rejoice in my God. 12 Yea, I know that I am nothing; as to my strength I am weak; therefore I will not boast of myself, but I will boast of my God, for in his strength I can do all things; yea, behold, many mighty miracles we have wrought in this land, for which we will praise his name forever.
I've definitely already shared this verse in an email before but it is such a good verse. Whenever i start to think that im becoming a great missionary or I'm starting to speak the language better, I get straight up humbled. We should never boast of our own strength because Heavenly father does soo much for us and he gives us strength through everything.
That's all i have for this week, love you all!! Have another good week and email me if you feel like it this week. It would be really cool.
