TŘEBIČ

Yooo what's up everybody! This week a lot of really cool things actually happened so i have some stuff to write about. We had our transfer call on Saturday and I will be heading to Třebič for this next transfer with the goat elder Hinckley. Trebic has been closed for a couple transfers and so we get to go open it up again and get it rolling a little bit. It will be a lot of work but I'm super excited. It's gonna be a super fire transfer. 

This week was super fire because we Finally have somebody on bap date for September 21 here in České Budějovice. We were planning on putting out other friend on bap date but it turns out he forgot the entire restoration so we need to teach that again. But then he should be ready for baptism which is super cool. 

We were able to do like 7 hours on service this thursday for the chrdlovi fam. We helped them tear down 2 big cement walls in a rental apartment. It was a super good time and we got to know them a lot better because of it. I seriously think they are the greatest members in the whole world. Definitely going to miss them. 

We visited an inactive member family named the Řehořovi and they let us come in to their apartment which was super amazing. They have a 15 year old son that isn't baptized and they said we could come back so that's a Dub. We could see some great miracles with that. It would really help the branch here. 

There was a crazy big festival here in the town square on friday and Saturday. That was really cool, and super cool to see a bunch of czech people all in one place. 

That's some of the highlights of the week. We also made some fire plum dumplings on fast Sunday at the chrdlovi family's home. Soo good! 

D&C 9:8 "But, behold, I say unto you, that you must study it out in your mind; then you must ask me if it be right, and if it is right I will cause that your bosom shall burn within you; therefore, you shall feel that it is right."
Super cool verse about the Holy ghost that I read this week.

Dang this was such a normal week, but I'll try to make this interesting. Monday we had a district p day which was awesome. I used to have those every week in Prague, I definitely miss those days haha. But we went to one of the prettiest places in the country, it was literally a fairy tale land. But it was an awesome day and gave us some energy for the long week we had. We ended that day with some street contacting, picking up elder Rowes wallet from the train station cause he lost it, and then killing around 15 spiders that have been lurking in our church building for probably the past 5 years.  Tuesday was a completely normal day, we visited an inactive member and she said she's definitely not going to come back to church. Kinda unfortunate.  Wednesday was the first day of my mission that I have ever gone door to door contacting. It was actually a lot of fun but dang nobody wanted to talk with us. Křest Jany v ČBUDSKY

This is actually going to be such a short email cause I don't feel really good, but this week was so awesome. Pretty much the first half of the week was pretty great, normal missionary work. We were able to teach a couple lessons and talk with lots of people. Good stuff. Thursday we went to the other elders area and I ran an exchange with my old comp from Prague elder Lawrence. That was a good time and good to be back together. The exchange was pretty great. That next day I had my last VISA appointment in Prague and now I have my visa which is good. Elder Hinckley still has 2 more so we will be going back again very soon. Pretty bad timing but its alr.  The best part of the week was that i was able to return to CBUD for a baptism of one of our friends that I was able to teach before i left. She is so amazing, already has the strongest testimony! She has some family members in the church so she has been reading the Book of mormon a little bit over the past couple years. One day she ...

Week 88 Or Something As A Missionary

Whats up everybody! This week was really awesome! It started off with a lot of late nights preparing for ZC and some other things, but it was a lot of fun.  It's been a crazy past couple of weeks. As a mission, we always have a monthly focus. Througout our MLC about a month ago, we counciled about things and decided that the best monthly focus for our mission would be, "Confidence and Christ". We were planning a lot of things, even as we were preparing for a zone conference, we were completely focusing on how to grow in our confidence in Christ. Then as we watched General Conference, President Nelsons talk was titled, "Confidence in the Presence of God". It was such an incredible feeling, knowing that our mission is focusing exactly on what the Prophet feels need to share with us.  Zone Conference went great, all the trainings and thoughts were all focused on growing our confidence through charity and Virtue and how to apply it directly into missionary work.
