Český Vymění

Whats up! Time is really starting to fly and i learned a lot this week which was amazing.
This week I went on exchange with Elder Barta and he's only been on his mission for 6 weeks including the MTC. I learned so much from him because he is the most genuine person I have ever met. We had a lot of time finding on our exchange and every time he bore his testimony I felt the power coming from it. The spirit was soo strong in every conversation we had even if everybody say no to us. It was a great reminder for me to always rely on the Spirit even when I may start to get a little confident with my missionary skills or other things, none of it is important without the spirit. One of the coolest parts about the exchange is that his dad is from this small town of Mladá Boleslav and his mom is from France. When his dad became a member a long time ago, he got literally thrown out of the house. We had the opportunity to go visit elder bartas grandparents and it was soo amazing. They are still pretty against the church, but it was a super cool experience because over the past several years their hearts have been incredibly softened.
Other than that, nothing too much happened. We've been having some problems with one of our new members, so we are trying to figure that out. That led to quite a bit of problems this week, but it's still been awesome and missionary work here is super great. We are still searching for some people that want to hear our message, but I know that as i do everything on my part, we can find some people that need the gospel in their life.
Super awesome quote from the week,

" Do you think you can teach a testimony? Can you analyze your own testimony of the Gospel? Try and do it. Try and explain why you think Jesus is the Son of God. You will never explain it by physical reasoning. Where do you get the knowledge to say "I know Jesus is the Son of God?" John said, "Of this no man needs teaching." The Gospel of Jesus Christ is not knowledge. When people say they are glad to have a knowledge of Jesus they speak in what we call a manner of speech. The gospel is a feeling. It is controlled and governed by the power of the Holy Ghost."

When I read this this week, it was like dead on what I needed to hear. We build our testimony through spiritual experiences with the Holy Ghost. Sometimes it's hard for me to explain logically why I have a testimony, but the power of the Spirit behind a testimony witnessing that Jesus Christ lives and that he is our Savior is soo powerful. I've seen my own testimony grow as I've born my own witness of Jesus Christ and his Gospel, and the Holy Ghost had testified of the truth of it in every situation. I love this gospel and the knowledge I have of the truths that comes with it! I love all you guys!! Have an awesome week
