Wow

This week was one of the greatest weeks of my mission! I love this place.
We had an absolutely packed day on Wednesday with 5 different lessons in the span of 3 hours. All of the lessons were soo awesome and we are teaching some incredible people. That was the most I've ever taught on one day my entire mission and it was great. It's been cool to see the miracles that are happening here in Plzeň. 
Before all of those lessons we were outside on the streets and found a dead man passed out on this bench thingy. We like walked over to him and this other guy walked over at the same time. All of us were crazy confused and then we called the ambulance and everything. It was a crazy experience. After all of that, our senior couple took us to dinner on the town square and it was amazing!
The best part of the week was Friday and Saturday. Friday we drove down to prague and had zone conference. It was soo good and i wasn't in charge of anything so I jusy got to sit back and learn. Straight from there we hopped in a car with our mission president and his wife and drove to Freiburg Germany with them. That was one of the greatest drives of my life. They just kept throwing candy and snacks back to us and they might be the coolest 2 people in the entire world. I love them soo much. When we got to germany, i was in charge of conducting the new member fireside and so that was a good time. Straight from there, we got back in the car with president and sister skousen and drove to dinner with them. Oh man it was amazing! 
The greatest part of the week was actually going to the temple. It's been about 20 months since I've been to the temple and wow, it is truly the house of the Lord! We got to see about a dozen new members do baptisms in the temple for the first time. Straight from there, my mission president told me and my comp to go do endowments in czech. 
This week was truly amazing! The work is moving forward here in the czech Republic! We are seeing crazy miracles all over the mission. I know that this is the lord's church and he is hastening his work all over the world!

Dang this was such a normal week, but I'll try to make this interesting. Monday we had a district p day which was awesome. I used to have those every week in Prague, I definitely miss those days haha. But we went to one of the prettiest places in the country, it was literally a fairy tale land. But it was an awesome day and gave us some energy for the long week we had. We ended that day with some street contacting, picking up elder Rowes wallet from the train station cause he lost it, and then killing around 15 spiders that have been lurking in our church building for probably the past 5 years.  Tuesday was a completely normal day, we visited an inactive member and she said she's definitely not going to come back to church. Kinda unfortunate.  Wednesday was the first day of my mission that I have ever gone door to door contacting. It was actually a lot of fun but dang nobody wanted to talk with us. This is actually going to be such a short email cause I don't feel really good, but this week was so awesome. Pretty much the first half of the week was pretty great, normal missionary work. We were able to teach a couple lessons and talk with lots of people. Good stuff. Thursday we went to the other elders area and I ran an exchange with my old comp from Prague elder Lawrence. That was a good time and good to be back together. The exchange was pretty great. That next day I had my last VISA appointment in Prague and now I have my visa which is good. Elder Hinckley still has 2 more so we will be going back again very soon. Pretty bad timing but its alr.  The best part of the week was that i was able to return to CBUD for a baptism of one of our friends that I was able to teach before i left. She is so amazing, already has the strongest testimony! She has some family members in the church so she has been reading the Book of mormon a little bit over the past couple years. One day she ...

Week 88 Or Something As A Missionary

Whats up everybody! This week was really awesome! It started off with a lot of late nights preparing for ZC and some other things, but it was a lot of fun.  It's been a crazy past couple of weeks. As a mission, we always have a monthly focus. Througout our MLC about a month ago, we counciled about things and decided that the best monthly focus for our mission would be, "Confidence and Christ". We were planning a lot of things, even as we were preparing for a zone conference, we were completely focusing on how to grow in our confidence in Christ. Then as we watched General Conference, President Nelsons talk was titled, "Confidence in the Presence of God". It was such an incredible feeling, knowing that our mission is focusing exactly on what the Prophet feels need to share with us.  Zone Conference went great, all the trainings and thoughts were all focused on growing our confidence through charity and Virtue and how to apply it directly into missionary work.
