Whats up! This was another really good week! It started off with a new friend we are teaching named Matyáš! We found Matyáš about 2 weeks ago and we were able to have a lesson with him. When I talked to him on the street, he told me that he had started believing in God 3 days before because of some life situations. He's a super cool guy, and the lesson was great. The coolest part is that we invited him to pray at the end of the lesson, and he said the most amazing prayer ever. We sat there for about 10 seconds afterwards and we asked him what he was feeling during that moment. Then he told us that it was the greatest feeling ever that he had never felt before. He truly felt like God was there and that God loved him. We then asked him to describe it and we were able to help him identify that it was the spirit. One of the coolest lessons of my mission and we should have another lesson with him this week. 
We also had a lesson with another man named Petr. He told us how he's reading the Book of mormon every day and using the app and stuff to record it. Then we asked him when was the last time he had prayed about the Book of mormon to know if it was true. He told us that he hasn't prayed about it since 2001. So we invited him to pray and he said ok. Then we asked if we could pray about it right then and there. We all kneeled down and I said a prayer. Then elder Ballstaedt said a prayer and then we asked Petr to say a prayer. He was quite for about 15 seconds and then told us he would pray later. The spirit was super strong and I know he was able to feel it. Once he receives a testimony of the Book of Mormon he said he will be baptized. He's awesome! 
The last man is Francisco! We had a lesson with him on Saturday and he's amazing. He's reading and praying about the book of mormon and searching for his answer. Once he receives a confirmation that the resto is true, he wants to be baptised as well. Things are going great here and we just need a small little push of miracles and plzen is going to take off. There were some really awesome other experiences this week including giving a 7 year old a book of mormon and him testifying about Jesus Christ in front of his dad. It was soo cool and he's going to get baptized some day after he reads the Book of mormon.

Dang this was such a normal week, but I'll try to make this interesting. Monday we had a district p day which was awesome. I used to have those every week in Prague, I definitely miss those days haha. But we went to one of the prettiest places in the country, it was literally a fairy tale land. But it was an awesome day and gave us some energy for the long week we had. We ended that day with some street contacting, picking up elder Rowes wallet from the train station cause he lost it, and then killing around 15 spiders that have been lurking in our church building for probably the past 5 years.  Tuesday was a completely normal day, we visited an inactive member and she said she's definitely not going to come back to church. Kinda unfortunate.  Wednesday was the first day of my mission that I have ever gone door to door contacting. It was actually a lot of fun but dang nobody wanted to talk with us. This is actually going to be such a short email cause I don't feel really good, but this week was so awesome. Pretty much the first half of the week was pretty great, normal missionary work. We were able to teach a couple lessons and talk with lots of people. Good stuff. Thursday we went to the other elders area and I ran an exchange with my old comp from Prague elder Lawrence. That was a good time and good to be back together. The exchange was pretty great. That next day I had my last VISA appointment in Prague and now I have my visa which is good. Elder Hinckley still has 2 more so we will be going back again very soon. Pretty bad timing but its alr.  The best part of the week was that i was able to return to CBUD for a baptism of one of our friends that I was able to teach before i left. She is so amazing, already has the strongest testimony! She has some family members in the church so she has been reading the Book of mormon a little bit over the past couple years. One day she ...

Week 88 Or Something As A Missionary

Whats up everybody! This week was really awesome! It started off with a lot of late nights preparing for ZC and some other things, but it was a lot of fun.  It's been a crazy past couple of weeks. As a mission, we always have a monthly focus. Througout our MLC about a month ago, we counciled about things and decided that the best monthly focus for our mission would be, "Confidence and Christ". We were planning a lot of things, even as we were preparing for a zone conference, we were completely focusing on how to grow in our confidence in Christ. Then as we watched General Conference, President Nelsons talk was titled, "Confidence in the Presence of God". It was such an incredible feeling, knowing that our mission is focusing exactly on what the Prophet feels need to share with us.  Zone Conference went great, all the trainings and thoughts were all focused on growing our confidence through charity and Virtue and how to apply it directly into missionary work.
