WEEK 7 OF THE PROVO MTC!! I'm so freaking ready to leave for the Czech Republic hahaha. As much as I love learning and studying about the gospel, I've been here for soo long. I started my mission the same week my little siblings started school and I'm pretty sure that they have fall break this next week and I technically haven't even started my mission yet. It's kinda crazy but I just gotta make it 8 more days. I get my travel plans sometime in the next few days to see where I will be flying. The last 2 Czech groups flew from Salt Lake to New York and then straight to Prague so I'm guessing that will be the same for me. It's also cool because I've never been to New York so that will be cool even if I'm just in the airport.  This week was pretty boring, I'm not even gonna lie. I honestly don’t know what to write about because this week was really boring and almost nothing cool happened. I don't know if you guys remember this but a couple weeks ago I talked about goldfish and their memory. Well I do really have the memory of a goldfish because when I'm trying to learn a new word I forget about 3 seconds after I learn it. That's kinda how my life has been the past 6 weeks BUT THAT'S OK!! I have God on my side so I know he will help me with this language.  I just played volleyball with sam eaton ryan moon and kaleo grover so that was sick. It was the very last time playing volleyball with Sam because he leaves tmr morning, but on the last point Sam blocked me. That's fine tho because he needs some confidence before he goes to Mexico and doesn't understand what anybody is saying to him. I GOT MY VISA!!! I'm officially going to the Czech Republic and I am so excited. I was the last one to turn in my VISA out of my district, so if anybody didn't get their VISA it would've been me. We all somehow got our VISAs last wednesday and all of us are going to Czech on October 6th and I can't wait!  I feel like every week at the MTC is the exact same, but I’m going to try my best to make this somewhat of an interesting email. This past week me and Elder Eaton had the chance to play real volleyball against 2 other guys from my district and it felt so nice to actually play again. Of course me and Elder Eaton won but Elder Burke and Olsen are actually not too bad so it was super fun. I also played basketball with Elder Grover yesterday and we were going crazy. I'm officially halfway done with the Provo MTC!!! I’ve been in Utah for a month and it's such a weird feeling because I really want to go out to the field already and I feel like I'm prepared, but I still have no clue how to speak Czech. I try my best to stay as positive as I can when I'm learning because I know it's not going to be easy so there's no reason to waste my time by getting frustrated. Something I've been thinking about a lot this weekend is a quote that Chad Eaton would tell me sometimes before I had a volleyball or basketball game. He would tell me to "be like a goldfish" haha. I know this sounds super dumb but he would tell me that goldfish have a terrible memory and could only remember things that happened like 3 seconds ago.
