Baby Tower And Eifel Tower

Another week in Prague. I feel like a lot happened this week so I'm just gonna get right into it! Just skip to different paragraphs if you don't want to read the whole thing. P day was so sick. We had a zone p day so there were about 25 missionaries together all day here in Prague. We started with a little contacting blitz. That meant that we all split up into random groups with random companions. I got put with a greenie that got here 6 weeks ago. It was so much fun and we had some really good convos. It's crazy how much the gift of tongues works when you need it. Then we played Lazer tag and I went crazy. I got first place on my team both games. It was a lot of fun. Then of course we played some basketball, but the fun part was that the whole court was iced over in our church parking lot. We played ice basketball for like an hour and it was so much fun but also dangerous. We also got to play basketball later that night too with the mission presidents fam and the APs. I ca...

WEEK 25

Image
Week 25 as a missionary! I might actually end up making this email pretty short. Send me an email if you feel like it! On p day we went to a cool castle place where our mission was dedicated. It was really cool, it's like a super spiritual place and has a lot of importance to our mission. It was sweet, and later this summer all the missionaries in the Czech Republic will meet up at the top of the mountain together. It's super cool so I'm glad that I got to go on P day this week.              We had MLC on Wednesday that I got to go to. We woke up early in the morning to drive about 2 and a half hours. We gave a fire presentation for our DFT social media stuff and then i got to hoop for about 45 minutes. Basketball was a lot of fun cause all the other elders were super athletic so we played some really good games. Also had some KFC so that was fire.  Our friend Peter says he wants to get baptized in about 2 weeks which is super exciting. It will be...

Dont Punch Elevators

Image
Don't punch elevators, that was the lesson I learned this week. On Saturday morning we went to a member's apartment with the APs to help them move. We took all of the crap from the basement where they were moving and took that to the dump. While they took that stuff to the dump, we went to the old apartment and started to move everything from their apartment downstairs. It was going good for the first 5 ish minutes, we took a dresser and some other things in the elevator and brought that downstairs. We got back in the elevator and pressed floor number 3 and the doors started to close. Then my comp decided to “push” the button that opens the door. He says he just pushed it but it was somewhat of an aggressive “push”. The door stopped halfway from closing and the whole elevator kinda just shut down. We tried a bunch of stuff to get it to work for the next few minutes and gave up. We walked up stairs and I looked at the cool mom and said “Výtah nefunguje” which means “the elevator...

Další Skvělý Týden V Praze!

Další skvělý týden v Praze! This week started off a little rough but every day got better. It felt like my language skills were back to when I just barely got here to Czechia at the beginning of the week. But now at the end of the week, it feels like it's the best it's been. I hate how the gift of tongues works, but I'm studying and working hard and I can see it start paying off even when it may not feel like it.  Last P day was so much fun cause we played sports for pretty much 6 hours straight. The mission President and his kids played with us. So we had 8 missionaries and 4 others from President's fam. We played basketball for about 2 hours in the church parking lot. Then we went to the park and played American football for like 2 and a half hours. It was so much freaking fun. Then we ended with some ultimate frisbee. I miss sports so it was such a goated day.  The first couple days of the week we were just working really hard with some stuff we had to do. We had a l...
